Cordova Meadows Elementary School (Rancho Cordova)

Cordova Meadows Elementary School, a Title I School located in Rancho Cordova, is committed to providing a safe and positive environment for students, with caring and effective teachers and parental involvement. The mission of Cordova Meadows Elementary School is to assist families with basic needs and present quality educational programs so students can become life long learners and responsible citizens.

Cordova Meadows Elementary School has playground equipment that was built in 1967, no longer meets playground safety standards, is not a challenging medium for students to engage in safe, creative, and innovative play, and no longer inspires the greater public to utilize the playground as a destination community space. Through the playground project, students would be able to do more than just stand around during recess. A new interactive playground structure will create a safe and interactive place for kids to play during- and after- school, on the weekend, and will break the cycle of inactive, unhealthy children.
