Franklin Elementary School (Redlands)

Franklin Elementary School is a Pre-K through 5th grade public school, situated in a residential suburban area near the University of Redlands. Franklin Elementary School is a partnership between students, teachers, and parents, creating an environment that educates, nurtures, and develops the assets necessary to become responsible community members. The mission of Franklin Elementary School "is to provide the experiences necessary for students to become Friendly, Responsible, Achieving, Nice, Knowledgeable, Loyal, Imaginative, and Noble".

Franklin Elementary School's existing playground equipment, built in 1970, no longer meets safety standards. Through the playground project, the students at Franklin Elementary School will have safe equipment on which to play, and constructive activities to take part in during recess and afterschool, decreasing conflict amongst students, and increasing student exercise.
