City of Fresno

City of Fresno Parks, Recreation and Community Services enriches the lives of Fresno residents by providing park and open spaces for recreation activities.  The City is currently renovating Romain Park, the site of the new skatepark.  Romain Park is located near a community center as well as schools and youth program sites, making the skatepark easily accessible to community youth.

About two and a half years ago, the City of Fresno build a cement skatepark in Romain Park.  However, the demand for this type of facility has greatly exceeded the existing space.  The new and expanded skatepark will provide updated and safer equipment for youth in the area.
