I am attempting to complete the state title page for the 09-10 California AmeriCorps Application and have a question regarding number 8 (Status of the Legal Applicant). Our program’s Legal Applicant is the Monterey County Office of Education. Is a county office considered a Public Sector/Government Agency or Education (K-12)? We want to be sure to correctly label our program and its legal applicant.
For purposes of the application, a county office is a state entity; and therefore a public sector-type.
