Cesar Chavez Day of Service and Learning Toolkits

CaliforniaVolunteers is pleased to announce three Cesar Chavez Day of Service and Learning toolkits. Developed by the Volunteer Center of Orange County in conjunction with CaliforniaVolunteers and the Cesar E. Chavez Foundation, these toolkits will provide three service-learning activities for Cesar Chavez Day of Service and Learning on March 31.

Using the Toolkits
These easy-to-use toolkits contain everything an organization needs to carry out a simple and effective Cesar Chavez Day of Service and Learning project, including: curriculum; lesson plans; links to academic content standards; instructions on planning service projects; permission slips; resource lists; certificates of appreciation; press releases; and more! These resources will make it easy for any teacher, community leader or parent to implement service-learning activities.

CaliforniaVolunteers is sponsoring the Volunteer Center of Orange County to operate a toll free toolkit hotline. Call toll free (866)-544-5604 for professional assistance.
